Visit Queen Elizabeth's garden
When you enter the brick walled gates you will find a beautiful collection of statues, a gazebo, and a lush garden, all of which represent the Renaissance period. This North Carolina garden and arboretum was created to represent the garden that was kept for Queen Elizabeth.

The plants change depending on the season, but you will find magnificent and colorful flowers year round. Celebrations are also available here, but make sure you plan your reservations early since this garden in NC is quite popular for its beauty, either photo shoots or weddings. A small fee will be charged but the garden is open for touring.

Be One with Nature
As huge as 7 acres, this public garden in NC offers a lot. It has 15 gardens each with an amphitheater which can be used for concerts and is a good venue for other activities. These gardens were planted with colorful varieties of some 1300 kinds of plants and flowers. Opened in April of 2011, Ciener Botanical Garden is in the process of developing more attractions inside the botanical. Visitors who love plants and flowers will surely enjoy a trip to this picture worthy place. The whole area is not yet accessible to the public but you will still enjoy the wonderful display of plants and flowers. 

The garden was developed in memory of a local businessman Paul J. Ciener. The garden took years of planning and planting but it all paid off and was worth the wait. Take a walk around the garden and enjoy being one with nature.

Over a hundred year old Garden & Arboretum in North Carolina University!
In 1903, Dr. Williams Coker developed a five-acre boggy pasture into an outdoor University classroom for the study of trees, shrubs and vines in the University of North Carolina. Now, for more than 100 years, the Coker Arboretum has become one of the main attractions of the University.

 

Through the years, many plants and collections have been added in the arboretum such as East Asian trees and shrubs, flowering trees, perennial displays and Native North Carolina plants which add to the beauty and educational value of the arboretum.

Educational Arboretum in North Carolina University!
The William Lanier Hunt Arboretum at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill showcases approximately 20 specimens collected from the wild, dated from 1932 to 1945. The garden and arboretum was named after the generous man, William Lanier “Bill” Hunt, who donated land along Morgan Creek in southern Orange County to the North Carolina Botanical Garden.

 

Today, there are over 1,000 specimens in the collection. Visitors will surely enjoy and learn from the arboretum. It offers seminars, tours around photo galleries and walk along to the different shrubs and bushes in the garden.
