The Carolina Theatre of Durham is a non-profit organization which manages the city-owned Carolina Theatre at Durham, NC. Carolina Theatre is dedicated to presenting thought-provoking vibrant films and live performances that contribute to the economic and cultural vitality of downtown Durham and the whole Triangle Region.
Live performances at the Carolina Theatre are supported by the North Carolina Arts Council, an agency that was funded by the state of North Carolina, the A.J. Fletcher Performing Arts Fund of the Triangle Community Foundation and the National Endowment for the Arts.
