Teams and Fans Enjoying Unprecedented Successes
NC State is one of just five schools in North Carolina to have its football team play in a postseason bowl. The college's men's basketball team advance to the NCAA Tournament and the college's baseball team advance to the Super Regionals. The other four schools which have accomplished that feat are the following: Louisville, Kansas State, Oklahoma and UCLA, and they are playing their Super Regional on the road.
The Wolfpack women's and man's outdoor track and squads begin competition at the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships in Eugene, and men's and women's tennis along with men's and women's golf and softball are also advanced to NCAA play in 2013.
